About Us

Paarl SPCA is governed by a Management Committee consisting of ten nominated and elected members who oversee the organisation and ensure it operates effectively.

The Management Committee provides strategic direction and works closely with the Manager/Chief Executive Officer, who is responsible for the day-to-day management of the SPCA. The CEO leads a dedicated team across all departments, including Animal Inspectors, Kennels, Equine Care, Education, Public Relations, Fundraising, Administration and Maintenance.

Every SPCA is required to employ a qualified Animal Inspector, who is authorised by the Magistrate’s Court to investigate animal cruelty, enforce animal welfare legislation and protect animals within the community.

Together, We Can Give Every Animal A Second Chance.
